Payton College Prep Grizzlies (Chicago, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Hillwood Hilltoppers (Nashville, TN), 41-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Payton College Prep upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Glenwood (Chatham, IL) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Glenwood lost 46-44 in their recent non-league bout against Carmel (Mundelein, IL)

Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Shelbyville Central Golden Eagles (Shelbyville, TN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 4. Hillwood will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 68-28 non-league loss to Blackman (Murfreesboro, TN).
