California High School Basketball - Royal tipped by Hoover

December 29, 2022: San Diego, CA 92115

In Thursday's non-league match, the host Hoover Cardinals basketball team scored a tight 67-61 triumph over the Royal Highlanders.

In their next game, the Cardinals meet the Cathedral Catholic Dons (San Diego, CA) in a Western match, on Friday, January 6. Hoover will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Dons enter the match with a 9-6 record after their 57-45 non-league loss to Punahou (Honolulu, HI).

With the defeat, Royal moves to 7-11 on the year. The Highlanders host Canyon Springs (North Las Vegas, NV) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Canyon Springs lost 63-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Downey (Downey, CA)
