The St. Thomas More Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and held the visiting Iowa Yellowjackets to 58 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newman for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. St. Thomas More will meet a Greenies team coming off a 57-44 non-league win over Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Greenies record now stands at 15-2.
The Yellowjackets (14-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Ireton (Alexandria, VA). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Bishop Ireton was defeated by Newman (New Orleans, LA), 57-44, in a non-league contest.
