With the win, New Waverly upgrades its record to 13-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Splendora (Splendora, TX) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 12-5. Splendora won 47-35 in their recent non-league bout against Centerville (Centerville, TX)

Next up, the Wampus Cats clash with the Lucas Christian Academy Warriors (Lucas, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Itasca will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 59-36 non-league loss to Jarrell (Jarrell, TX).
