With the win, Red Bud upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Musketeers host Okawville (Okawville, IL) to play the Rockets in a Cahokia - Illinois bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 1-9. Okawville lost 53-48 in their recent non-league bout against Roxana (Roxana, IL)

Next up, the Indians play the Galatia Bearcats (Galatia, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Johnston City will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 61-52 league loss to Norris City-Omaha-Enfield (Norris City, IL).
