Georgia High School Basketball - Strom Thurmond beaten by Laney

The Laney Wildcats ran past the visiting Strom Thurmond Rebels basketball team by a final score of 56-48 in Thursday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 30. Laney will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Thoroughbreds enter the game with a 6-5 record after their 54-50 non-league loss to Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA).

With the defeat, Strom Thurmond moves to 9-5 on the year. The Rebels travel to Josey (Augusta, GA) to face the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, December 30.
