The Libertyville Wildcats basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Neuqua Valley Wildcats to 51 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glenbrook North for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Libertyville will meet a Spartans team coming off a 58-57 non-league win over Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 14-0.
The Wildcats (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fremd (Palatine, IL). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Fremd was defeated by Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL), 58-57, in a non-league contest.
