Texas High School Basketball - McLeod tipped by Saltillo

The Saltillo Lions basketball team scored 33 points and held the visiting McLeod Longhorns to 29 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miller Grove for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Saltillo will meet a Hornets team coming off a 48-39 non-league loss to Boles (Quinlan, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 12-7.
The Longhorns (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX). The Tomcats enter the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Tom Bean was nudged by Campbell (Campbell, TX), 51-43, in a non-league contest.
