In Thursday's non-league outing, the Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT) basketball squad beat the visiting Portland Highlanders (Portland, CT), by a count of 67-52.

The Blue Dragons (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Platt (Meriden, CT). The Panthers go into the Central Connecticut - South Colonial outing with a 4-1 record.
