California High School Basketball - Oxnard can't hold off Monte Vista

The Monte Vista Mustangs basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Oxnard Yellowjackets to 57 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Priory for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Monte Vista will battle a Panthers team coming off a 54-43 non-league win over Mamaroneck (Mamaroneck, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 12-0.
The Yellowjackets (14-2) will now prepare for their contest against Rio Mesa (Oxnard, CA). The Spartans enter the Channel contest with a 7-8 record.
