Otay Ranch Mustangs (Chula Vista, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Moreno Valley Vikings (Moreno Valley, CA), 64-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Otay Ranch upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to El Camino (Oceanside, CA) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 8-4. El Camino won 91-41 in their recent non-league bout against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Temescal Canyon Titans (Lake Elsinore, CA) in a Sunbelt bout, on Thursday, January 5. Moreno Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record.
