California High School Basketball - North trounces Mt. Whitney

The North Stars (Bakersfield, CA) basketball crushed the host Mt. Whitney Pioneers (Visalia, CA), 53-32 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Stars (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Monache (Porterville, CA). The Marauders go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Monache walloped Golden West (Visalia, CA), 57-47, in a non-league test.

The Pioneers now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Golden West for a non-league test on Friday, December 30. Mt. Whitney will encounter a Trailblazers squad coming off a 57-47 non-league loss to Monache (Porterville, CA). The Trailblazers record now stands at 11-4.
