In Thursday's non-league outing, the Normal Community Ironmen (Normal, IL) basketball squad beat the visiting Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL), by a margin of 59-47.
The Ironmen (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Champaign Central (Champaign, IL). The Maroons go into the Big Twelve outing with a 4-7 record. In their last outing, Champaign Central defeated Glenwood (Chatham, IL), 50-49, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host Romeoville for a SouthWest Prairie outing on Tuesday, January 3. Oswego will clash with a Spartans squad coming off a 57-41 non-league loss to Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL). The Spartans record now stands at 10-5.
