The Owego Free Academy Indians (Owego, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY), 49-47 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Indians (7-2) will now prepare for their test against Seton Catholic Central (Binghamton, NY). The Saints go into the Section 4 Southern Tier - Central test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Seton Catholic Central was tipped by Corning-Painted Post (Corning, NY), 74-63, in a non-league test.

The Red Raiders now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to Union-Endicott for a non-league test on Friday, December 30. Palmyra-Macedon will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 80-64 non-league win over Tamarac (Troy, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
