Minnesota High School Basketball - Pelican Rapids can't hold off West Central Area

The West Central Area Knights basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Pelican Rapids Vikings to 62 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Knights now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta for a AA Section 3 contest on Friday, February 3.
The Vikings (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN). The Green Wave enter the AA Section 8 contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, East Grand Forks nudged Roseau (Roseau, MN), 91-49, in a league contest.
