Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Wilmington ripped by Union Area

December 29, 2022: New Wilmington, PA 16142

The Union Area Scotties basketball team scored 63 points and held the host Wilmington Greyhounds to 11 in the Scotties non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Scotties now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Neshannock for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Union Area will battle a Lancers team coming off a 68-39 non-league win over Greenville (Greenville, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-2.

The Greyhounds (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Portersville Christian (Portersville, PA). The enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Portersville Christian was routed by Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA), 51-42, in a non-league contest.
