In Thursday's non-league outing, the John Milledge Academy Trojans (Milledgeville, GA) basketball squad felled the host Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA), by a margin of 42-29.
The Trojans (8-1) will now prepare for their outing against Brentwood (Sandersville, GA). The War Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 7-3 record. In their last outing, Brentwood thwarted Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA), 46-18, in a non-league outing.
The Gryphons now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Kendrick for a AA Region 2 outing on Friday, January 6. Academy for Classical Education will clash with a Cherokees squad coming off a 37-29 non-league win over Jordan (Columbus, GA). The Cherokees record now stands at 2-9.
