The Peoria Notre Dame Irish basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Alleman Pioneers to 39 in the Irish non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Irish now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Danville for a Big Twelve contest on Saturday, January 7. Peoria Notre Dame will meet a Vikings team coming off a 49-7 non-league loss to Effingham (Effingham, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 0-11.
The Pioneers (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Dunlap (Dunlap, IL). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Dunlap was defeated by Peoria (Peoria, IL), 60-40, in a non-league contest.
