Mounds View Mustangs (Arden Hills, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Bemidji Lumberjacks (Bemidji, MN), 67-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mounds View upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to St. Cloud Tech (St. Cloud, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Lumberjacks play the Tartan Titans (Oakdale, MN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Bemidji will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 47-35 non-league loss to Hibbing/Victory Christian Academy (Hibbing, MN).
