The Bolsa Grande Matadors basketball team (Garden Grove, CA), was overwhelmed 36-13 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Costa Mesa Mustangs (Costa Mesa, CA)
The Mustangs now possess a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saddleback for a Orange Coast battle on Tuesday, January 3. Costa Mesa will confront a Roadrunners team coming off a 42-24 non-league win over Samueli Academy (Santa Ana, CA). The Roadrunners record now stands at 8-11.
The Matadors (6-10) will now prepare for their battle against Santiago (Garden Grove, CA). The Cavaliers come into the Garden Grove battle with a 7-7 record. In their last battle, Santiago was overwhelmed by St. Margaret's (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 51-39, in a non-league battle.
