Laconia Spartans (Rosendale, WI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bonduel Bears (Bonduel, WI), 65-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Laconia upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Spartans host Mayville (Mayville, WI) to play the Cardinals in a Flyway bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 2-9. Mayville lost 50-33 in their recent non-league bout against St. Thomas More (Milwaukee, WI)

Next up, the Bears play the Shiocton Chiefs (Shiocton, WI) in a Central Wisconsin - East bout, on Thursday, January 5. Bonduel will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record.
