Georgia High School Basketball - Lanier County ripped by Brantley County

The Brantley County Herons basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Lanier County Bulldogs to 25 in the Herons non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Herons now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vidalia for a AA Region 3 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Brantley County will battle a Indians team coming off a 71-45 non-league loss to Statesboro (Statesboro, GA). The Indians record now stands at 7-6.
The Bulldogs (1-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Bears enter the non-league contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Pierce County was routed by Wayne County (Jesup, GA), 33-23, in a non-league contest.
