With the victory, Brookfield improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host South Shelby (Shelbina, MO) to play the Cardinals in a Clarence Cannon challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 9-1.

Next up, the Tigers play the Lawson Cardinals (Lawson, MO) in a KCI challenge, on Friday, January 6. Plattsburg will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
