Texas High School Basketball - Mansfield Timberview holds off Cedar Hill

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mansfield Timberview Wolves (Arlington, TX) and the visiting Cedar Hill Longhorns (Cedar Hill, TX), saw Mansfield Timberview's basketball squad hold off Cedar Hill by a tally of 41-40.

With the victory, Mansfield Timberview improves its record to 22-3 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Summer Creek (Houston, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 29. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 19-1. Summer Creek won 40-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Plano East (Plano, TX)

Next up, the Longhorns confront the Duncanville Panthers and Pantherettes (Duncanville, TX) in a 6A Region II District 11 challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Cedar Hill will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Panthers and Pantherettes come into the challenge with a 14-4 record after their 54-36 non-league win over Walker (Walker, LA).
