McKenzie Rebels (McKenzie, TN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Clarksville Wildcats (Clarksville, TN), 76-73 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, McKenzie upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Jackson South Side (Jackson, TN) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 13-0. Jackson South Side won 50-41 in their recent non-league bout against Meade County (Brandenburg, KY)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Stewart County Rebels (Dover, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Clarksville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-2 season record. The Rebels come into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 47-42 non-league win over East Robertson (Cross Plains, TN).
