The Clayton Yellowjackets basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Logan Longhorns to 35 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roy/Mosquero for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 3. Clayton will battle a Blue or Lady Blue team coming off a 29-24 non-league loss to Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM). The Blue or Lady Blue record now stands at 8-2.
The Longhorns (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Springer (Springer, NM). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Springer ran past Questa (Questa, NM), 44-41, in a non-league contest.
