The Monument Valley Cougars topped the host Cuba Rams basketball team by a final score of 67-48 in Thursday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Green River Pirates (Green River, UT) in a 1A Region 23 game, on Tuesday, January 10. Monument Valley will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record.
With the defeat, Cuba moves to 1-7 on the year. The Rams host Tse' Yi' Gai (Cuba, NM) to face the Dine Warriors in a non-league game on Thursday, January 5. The Dine Warriors enter the game with a record of 1-5. Tse' Yi' Gai lost 49-33 in their recent non-league game against Cimarron (Cimarron, NM)
