In Thursday's non-league outing, the Cumberland County Jets (Crossville, TN) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA), by a count of 60-38.

The Jets (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against York Institute (Jamestown, TN). The Dragons go into the non-league outing with a 12-2 record. In their last outing, York Institute smashed Monroe County (Tompkinsville, KY), 58-26, in a non-league outing.

The Broncos now hold a 5-9 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson for a AAAA Region 8A outing on Tuesday, January 3. East Forsyth will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 54-22 non-league loss to Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN). The Knights record now stands at 0-10.
