With the victory, Deshler improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Dragons host Diller-Odell (Odell, NE) to confront the Griffin in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Griffin come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. Diller-Odell won 58-47 in their recent non-league challenge against Tri County (DeWitt, NE)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Lewiston Tigers (Lewiston, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 41-38 non-league win over Dorchester (Dorchester, NE).
