The Fleming County Panthers basketball team (Flemingsburg, KY), was toppled 54-40 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Estill County Engineers (Irvine, KY)
The Engineers now possess a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Powell County for a District 56 battle on Monday, January 2.
The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop Brossart (Alexandria, KY). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Bishop Brossart was toppled by Madison Central (Richmond, KY), 56-40, in a non-league battle.
