The Geneva Eagles (Geneva, OH) basketball felled the host Jefferson Area Falcons (Jefferson, OH), 46-37 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Eagles (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Riverside (Painesville, OH). The Beavers go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record.
The Falcons now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Lakeview for a Northeast Eight test on Thursday, January 5.
