Rising Sun Tigers (North East, MD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Greater Grace Christian Academy Eagles (Baltimore, MD), 54-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rising Sun upgrades its record to 8-0 on the season. The Tigers host Patterson Mill (Bel Air, MD) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Patterson Mill won 50-36 in their recent league bout against Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MD)

Next up, the Eagles play the Mount Airy Christian Academy (Mount Airy, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Greater Grace Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record.
