Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Henrietta Bearcats (Henrietta, TX), 63-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Lubbock Christian upgrades its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Farwell (Farwell, TX) to play the Steers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Steers come into the bout with a record of 17-3. Farwell won 43-20 in their recent non-league bout against Quanah (Quanah, TX)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Vernon Lions (Vernon, TX) in a 3A Region I District 7 bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Henrietta will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 10-9 record after their 37-30 league loss to Jacksboro (Jacksboro, TX).
