In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders basketball team scored a tight 36-31 triumph over the Largo Lions.
In their next game, the Roughriders meet the Woodson Warriors (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA match, on Wednesday, January 4. Roosevelt will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 1-3 record after their 63-35 league loss to McKinley Tech (Washington, DC).
With the defeat, Largo moves to 0-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Central (Capitol Heights, MD) to meet the Falcons in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A match on Tuesday, January 3. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 3-3. Central lost 46-22 in their recent non-league match against Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD)
