Tennessee High School Basketball - South Gibson fells Lipscomb Academy

December 29, 2022: Nashville, TN 37204

South Gibson Hornets (Medina, TN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lipscomb Academy Mustangs (Nashville, TN), 52-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Gibson upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Hornets host Trinity Christian Academy (Jackson, TN) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Trinity Christian Academy lost 69-60 in their recent non-league bout against Spruce Creek (Port Orange, FL)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Mitchell County Eagles (Camilla, GA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Lipscomb Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 6-6 record after their 64-25 non-league loss to Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, AL).
