Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Perspectives Leadership/Technology Warriors (Chicago, IL), 38-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lockport upgrades its record to 12-7 on the season. The Porters travel to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to play the Celtics in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 3. The Celtics go into the bout with a record of 10-7. Providence Catholic won 64-59 in their recent non-league bout against Downers Grove South (Downers Grove, IL)

Next up, the Warriors play the Morgan Park Mustangs (Chicago, IL) in a Chicago Public - Red South Central bout, on Wednesday, January 11. Perspectives Leadership/Technology will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 45-41 non-league loss to Central (Burlington, IL).
