The Cooper Pirates basketball team scored 102 points and restricted the host Pecos Eagles to 8 in the Pirates non-league victory on Thursday.
The Pirates now sport a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastwood for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 29. Cooper will battle a Troopers team coming off a 49-44 league win over Montwood (El Paso, TX). The Troopers record now stands at 13-1.
The Eagles (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Prestonwood Christian was routed by Eastwood (El Paso, TX), 46-44, in a non-league contest.
