The Melbourne Bearkatz basketball team (Melbourne, AR), was nudged 41-37 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR)
The Raiders now possess a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookland for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 4.
The Bearkatz (3-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hoxie (Hoxie, AR). The Mustangs come into the 3A Region 2 battle with a 1-5 record.
