In Thursday's non-league outing, the Mineral Wells Rams (Mineral Wells, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host North Side Steers (Fort Worth, TX), by a count of 48-25.
The Rams (10-12) will now prepare for their outing against Turner (Carrollton, TX). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 5-15 record. In their last outing, Turner smashed Southwest (Fort Worth, TX), 43-25, in a non-league outing.
The Steers now hold a 9-10 record. They play next when they host South Hills for a 5A Region I District 6 outing on Tuesday, January 3. North Side will clash with a Scorpions squad coming off a 43-41 league win over Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX). The Scorpions record now stands at 3-14.
