Arizona High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge crushes Mingus

Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions (Glendale, AZ) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Mingus Marauders (Cottonwood, AZ), 67-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mountain Ridge upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Mountain Lions travel to Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ) to play the Wolves in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 14-2. Estrella Foothills won 53-34 in their recent non-league bout against Youngker (Buckeye, AZ)

Next up, the Marauders play the Lee Williams Volunteers (Kingman, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Mingus will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Volunteers come into the bout with a 12-3 record after their 37-36 non-league win over Bradshaw Mountain (Prescott Valley, AZ).
