The Pinecrest Academy Paladins (Cumming, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Strong Rock Christian Patriots (Locust Grove, GA), 57-33 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Paladins (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Killian Hill Christian (Lilburn, GA). The Cougars go into the GAPPS - I-AAA Region 2 test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Killian Hill Christian was trounced by Lanier Christian Academy (Flowery Branch, GA), 42-38, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they travel to Brookstone for a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 5 test on Tuesday, January 3. Strong Rock Christian will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 49-40 non-league loss to Wheeler (Marietta, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 9-3.
