Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) and the host Wethersfield Eagles (Wethersfield, CT), saw Pomperaug's basketball squad wallop Wethersfield by a tally of 57-27.

The Panthers now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kolbe-Cathedral for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5.

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor (Windsor, CT). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Windsor was routed by Enfield (Enfield, CT), 50-48, in a non-league contest.
