Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Yazoo City Indians (Yazoo City, MS), 58-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Presbyterian Christian upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to Parklane Academy (McComb, MS) to play the Pioneers in a MAIS 6A District 1 bout on Friday, January 6. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 2-4. Parklane Academy lost 48-31 in their recent non-league bout against Bay (Bay St. Louis, MS)

Next up, the Indians play the Clarksdale Wildcats (Clarksdale, MS) in a 4A Region 3 bout, on Friday, January 13. Yazoo City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-10 season record.
