Indiana High School Basketball - Union County nips Purdue Polytechnic

December 29, 2022: Liberty, IN 47353

Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Purdue Polytechnic Techies (Indianapolis, IN), 50-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Union County upgrades its record to 7-8 on the season. The Patriots travel to Connersville (Connersville, IN) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 4. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 7-9. Connersville lost 72-39 in their recent non-league bout against Lawrence North (Indianapolis, IN)

Next up, the Techies play the Greenwood Christian Academy Cougars (Greenwood, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Purdue Polytechnic will attempt to upgrade on its 13-4 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 2-10 record after their 49-22 non-league loss to Union City (Union City, IN).
