In Thursday's non-league outing, the St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA) basketball squad edged the host Santa Margarita Eagles (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA), by a margin of 65-63.
The Saints (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Caruthers (Caruthers, CA). The Blue Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 9-3 record. In their last outing, Caruthers was tipped by San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA), 66-54, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Orange Lutheran for a Trinity outing on Wednesday, January 4. Santa Margarita will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 65-35 non-league win over Northview (Covina, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 13-3.
