The Seneca Valley Raiders basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting South Side Rams to 16 in the Raiders non-league victory on Thursday.

The Raiders now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Butler for a WPIAL 6A 1 contest on Monday, January 2. Seneca Valley will battle a Golden Tornado team coming off a 57-42 non-league win over Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA). The Golden Tornado record now stands at 5-5.

The Rams (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against New Brighton (New Brighton, PA). The Lions come into the WPIAL 2A 1 contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, New Brighton was routed by Lincoln (Ellwood City, PA), 76-4, in a non-league contest.
