Tennessee High School Basketball - Silverdale Academy can't hold off Sequatchie County

The Sequatchie County Indians basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Silverdale Academy Seahawks to 33 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host McMinn County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Sequatchie County will battle a Cherokees team coming off a 43-25 non-league win over Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN). The Cherokees record now stands at 5-4.

The Seahawks (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Boyd-Buchanan (Chattanooga, TN). The Buccaneers enter the Division II-A East District 2 contest with a 6-4 record.
