North Carolina High School Basketball - Weldon tipped by Washington County

December 29, 2022: Weldon, NC 27890

The Washington County Panthers basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Weldon Chargers to 47 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northampton County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Washington County will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 70-16 league win over Warren County (Warrenton, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-0.

The Chargers (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC). The Tigers enter the 1A Conference 9 contest with a 0-5 record.
