The Newport Harbor Sailors (Newport Beach, CA) basketball knocked off the host Sonora Raiders (La Habra, CA), 57-47 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Sailors (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Marina (Huntington Beach, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record.
The Raiders now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fullerton for a test on Friday, January 6.
