Ohio High School Basketball - Academy for Urban Scholars overwhelmed by Minerva

The Minerva Lions basketball team scored 94 points and restricted the visiting Academy for Urban Scholars Hawks to 24 in the Lions non-league victory on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Claymont for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Minerva will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 62-41 league win over Newcomerstown (Newcomerstown, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 5-3.
The Hawks (1-8) will now prepare for their contest against Chaney (Youngstown, OH). The Cowboys come into the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Chaney was routed by Hoover (North Canton, OH), 59-44, in a non-league contest.
